Obituary of Rosemarie F. "Nan" (Luongo) Supino
Rosemarie F. Nan Supino 74 years of Peabody, wife of the late Albert A. Supino, died Saturday afternoon at the Beverly Hospital after a brief illness.
Mrs. Supino was born June 18, 1929 in Everett daughter of the late Americo and Clara (Palmeri) Luongo. She was raised in Everett and graduated from Everett High School class of 1947. She moved to Peabody in 1957.
Along with her late husband Mrs. Supino opened and operated Supino’ s Restaurant in Danvers in 1972 and continued to be involved in the daily operations until her death. She and her late husband had previously owned and operated the A & L Floor waxing and rug shampooing company from 1967 to 1972.
Mrs. Supino’ s life revolved around her family and she appreciated her many friends who were so kind and supportive during her illness. She traveled extensively worldwide, took pleasure in dining at many North Shore restaurants, enjoyed movies and shopping as hobbies.
She is survived by a daughter, Debra A. Supino-Griffin and her husband Shawn Griffin of Peabody with who she resided; a son and his wife, Ronald P. and Kim Supino of Middleton; a sister, Angela Dolly Miraglia of Billerica; 4 grandchildren, Steven Carini of San Diego CA, Max, Adam and Jack Supino all of Middleton; a brother-in-law, Joseph Supino of Peabody; 2 sisters-in-law, Yvonne Supino and Barbara Nutlie both of Harwich several nieces and nephews and Michael Caruana of Jupiter FL whom she considered like a son. Also was predeceased by her son Albert A. Supino Jr. and 3 brothers Fred, Augustine and Robert Luongo.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody locationfollowed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
