Obituary of Consuelo (Linares) Perez

Consuelo Perez, 97, of Peabody, died late Wednesday afternoon at her home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Jose Perez. Born in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Agustin and Maria (Charlatte) Linares. She immigrated to the United States in 1968 and resided in New York for many years and has been living in Peabody for the past 10 years. She enjoyed sewing, music and taking care of her family and she would make dresses for her children. She is survived by a four sons, Victor Perez of Lynn, Rafael and Agustin Perez, both of New York, and Julio Perez of New Jersey; six daughters, Josefa Perez and Cruz M. Perez, both of the Dominican Republic, Margarita Perez of Lynn, Patria Perez and Carmen Mendez, both of Peabody and Martha Perez of Lynn. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody, Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Friday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody
