Obituary of Helen A. (Musial) Patruska

Helen A. (Musial) Patruska PEABODY Helen A. (Musial) Patruska, beloved wife of the late Paul Patruska, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late John & Margaret (Pozycek) Patruska. She was a lifelong resident of the city, and attended Peabody schools. She graduated from Peabody High School. Mrs. Patruska worked for the Ivory System in Peabody until it closed, then was employed as a Bookkeeper for Anthony’ s Restaurants at their Corporate Office in Swampscott until her retirement. She was an avid sports fan, attending games of her grandchildren, and was an avid Notre Dame Football fan. She was a Past President of the Golden Agers Club of Peabody, and enjoyed traveling, day trips, and reading. She is survived by: one daughter and son-in-law, Paula & Michael Kotchian of Peabody; two grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Mark Kotchian and Eric & Heather Kotchian all of Peabody; two great-grandchildren, Kayli-Lyn & Viana Rose Kotchian, both of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Louis Musial and Bruno Musial, and a sister, Mary Crandall. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 8 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St. location, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are on Sunday from 3 to 7 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to a Diabetes organization -30-
