Obituary of Eileen V. (Dilks) Patrizzi

Eileen V. (Dilks) Patrizzi 88 years of Peabody formerly of Lynn, wife of the late Michael A. Patrizzi, died Wednesday June 23, 2004 at the Peabody Glen Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Mrs. Patrizzi was born on August 27, 1915 in Lynn daughter of the late Harry and Sarah (Egan) Dilks. She was raised and educated in Lynn. She resided in Lynn for most of her life moving to Peabody in 1975. Mrs. Patrizzi began her shoe-stitching career at the Liberty Shoe Company. She then worked at the Caswell Shoe Co in Lynn for 21 years. In 1975 after 50 years as a stitcher, she retired from the Benjamin Schwartz Shoe Co., in Lynn. She enjoyed traveling and reading as a hobby. Mrs. Patrizzi is survived by 2 daughters, Claire L. Reynolds of Saugus and Barbara A. Norris of Merritt Is. FL; a son and his wife, Robert H. and Maureen Patrizzi of Coco FL; a sister, Rita Murphy of Merritt Is. FL; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie Reynolds and Leah Thompson of Lynn, Jacalyn Reynolds and Jason Malia of Salem, Paul Patrizzi of Melbourne FL, Angel DeHart of Merritt Is. FL and Robin Holland of Tilton NH; 9 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, 2 nieces, Laurie Ann Young of Londonderry NH and Phyllis Hobbs of Merritt Is. FL; a nephew, Eric Young of Lynn. She was also predeceased by a sister Bernice Young. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
