Obituary of Donald S DeMille

Donald S. DeMille, 46, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and formally of Peabody, died Tuesday June 22, 2004 at his home in Florida, following a brief illness. He was the former husband of Mary Lou (Pappalardo) DeMille of Salem, New Hampshire. Born in Peabody, he was the son of Florence (Papageorge) DeMille of Danvers and formally of Peabody and the late Donald E. DeMille. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1976. He has spent the last eight years living in Fort Lauderdale. While living in Peabody, he worked as a cook for various restaurants on the North Shore, including Bick fords, Friendly’ s and later he served as a cook and manager at IHOP in Peabody and later as a credit manager for Sears Roebuck Co. in Salem before moving to Florida were he worked as a credit manager for Zodiac Pools in Fort Lauderdale for the past four years. He also enjoyed swimming, reading and writing. He is survived by his mother, Florence (Papageorge) DeMille of Danvers and formally of Peabody, 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Anyssa DeMille, Michael and Cindy DeMille and Nicholas and Melissa DeMille, all of Peabody; his grandmother, Soteria Papageorge of Peabody, a uncle, James Papageorge of Randolph and Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, He was the son of the late Donald E. DeMille. His Funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by Funeral Services at 10:00 AM in St. Vasilios Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Lymphoma Research Foundation, 111 Broadway 19th Floor, NY, NY 10006.
