Obituary of Eva Dubie

Eva Dubie, 81, of Peabody, died Wednesday at the Radius Healthcare Facility in Danvers after a long illness. She was born in Salem, Ma on March 6, 1925, the daughter of the late John M. and Tina M. (Jacoska) Dubie and had resided in Peabody most of her life. She was a graduate of Peabody High School and was first employed at the former A.C. Lawrence Leather Co., Peabody at the Calfskin Plant for 23 years. She later worked with the Peabody Health Center in Peabody for 20 years before her retirement 6 years ago. She had a large collection of different eggs. She was a member of St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Salem and volunteered for many years at the annual Bazaars and Bake Sales there. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Robert and Cecile Zielinski of Groveland, Linda and Tom Mac Donald of Salem, Richard Dubie of Peabody and William and Joanne Dubie of Hollis, NH, and many grand nieces and grand nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Dubie, Mary Dubie Zielinski, Helen Dunlap and Anne Rabchenuk and the aunt of the late Joseph Dubie. A Visitation will be held on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the new 82 Lynn ST., Peabody Facility. A Panikhida Service will be held on Friday at 7:30 PM. Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
