Obituary of Nancy R. (Warren) Andrade

Nancy R. (Warren) Andrade 70 years, wife of Joseph Andrade of Peabody, died Saturday July 31, 2004 at the Salem Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Andrade was born October 17, 1933 in Salem daughter of the late John and Agnes (Jameson) Warren. She was raised in Salem and graduated from Salem High School class of 1951. She resided in Salem before moving to Peabody in 1958. Mrs. Andrade was employed for 35 years in numerous capacities at Brooksby Farms in Peabody until her retirement in 1998. She devoted her entire life to her family, loved animals and her many hobbies included ceramics, knitting and cooking. She was also a member of the Peabody Historical Society and the Peabody Council on Aging. In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Diane M. and Jay Desmond of Rowley and Sharon A. Andrade of Peabody; 2 grandchildren, Amanda L. and Jennifer L. Desmond both of Rowley and several nieces and nephews. Her siblings, John Warren Jr., Kenneth and Francis Warren, Shirley Smith, Evelyn Liberti and Margaret Gagne, predeceased her. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody location. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Tuesday 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
