Obituary of Louise E. (Fenno) (Mead) Ingraham

Louise E. (Fenno) (Mead) Ingraham, 83, of Topsfield, died Friday evening at the Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Alton C. Mead and later the late Richard Y. Ingraham. She was born in Machias, ME, on May 1, 1921, the daughter of the late George and Freda (Roberts) Fenno and was a graduate of Williams Women College in Virginia. She had resided in Leominster and then in Wakefield Ma for twenty years during her first marriage and later in Topsfield for twenty two years with her second marriage. She had been a hostess at the Colonial Restaurant in Lynnfield for 20 years. Later she worked at the BoxTop Thrift Shop in Topsfield Center for many years. She also belonged to the Topsfield Historical Society and the Garden Club of Topsfield. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and William Martin of Peabody, 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey and Karen Mead of Florence, AZ and Craig and Ann Mead of Georgetown, MA, 3 grandchildren, Matthew Mead of Lake City, Fl. Kimberly Barber of So. Berwick, ME and Russell W. Martin of Melrose, 2 great grandchildren, Gabrielle and T.J. Barber and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 PM at the Family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, 357 Main St., Leominster, MA. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
