Obituary of Donna Marie DiPietro
Donna Marie Di Pietro, 43, of West Peabody, died early Monday morning at her residence surrounded by her family after a long 13 year battle
With cancer.
She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 24, 1958, the daughter of Anthony and Rose (Lavorante) Di Pietro and had resided in West Peabody most of
Her life. She was a graduate of Peabody High School in 1976 and Burdette College of
Boston.
She was first employed as an executive secretary at GTE Sylvania plant in
Danvers and later worked at the General Electric Company in Lynn, Ma. For the past
13 years she was assistant to the Vice President at the Electric Insurance Co. of Beverly.
She had been an active in many breast cancer programs and was a top team-captain
For the North Shore Cancer Walk. She also participated the last 3 years as a guest of the
Brystal-Myers, Squibb National Race for Breast Cancer Research in Washington, D.C..
She was active in the Nautilus Plus Workout Program, and was an avid Celtic Fan. She enjoyed gardening and traveling.
She is survived by her parents of West Peabody; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law,
Anthony Di Pietro of Danvers, Ma. and Mark and Melinda Di Pietro of Keene, N.H.,
A sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Kevin Stankiewicz of West Peabody, 6 nieces and nephews
Rebecca, Brad and Jason Stankiewicz of Peabody; Joanie Di Pietro
Of Beverly, Anthony Di Pietro of Danvers and Samantha Di Pietro of Keene, N.H..
Her Funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. from
The Conway facility at 12 Chestnut St., Peabody of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral
Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’ s Church, Lowell St., West Peabody
At 10:00 A.M. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours on
Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
