Obituary of Kathleen (Brennan) Kerrigan

Kathleen Kit (Brennan) Kerrigan, 49 Peabody, September 10, 2004. Kathleen Kit (Brennan) Kerrigan, 49 of Peabody and formerly of Danvers, died Friday at Beverly Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of Martin Kerrigan with she shared over 10 years of marriage. Born and raised in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (Shawtell) Brennan. She attended Danvers public schools and was a graduate of Danvers High School, class of 1973. She has been living in Peabody for the past 15 years. She was a volunteer at Haven for Hunger in Peabody for the past four years. She also worked as a nursing homecare assistant for many years on the North Shore. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was considered to be the life of the party, and was in the Shooting Stars Drum and Bugle Corps in the 1960’ s. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by a son Leo Buddy Lavasseur of Peabody; one step-daughter, Lori Lavasseur of Peabody and Salem; four brothers, Ed and Kathy Brennan of Hamilton, Fred Brennan and his wife Priscilla Johnson of Beverly, Howard and Barbera Burnham , and Bill Burnham, all of Colorado. She is also survived by her extended family of the Tom Russo, Cindy King, Leona Wiener, Leo Hyman, and Debbie Andruskiewicz all of the Danvers area, as well as several nieces and nephews, and two grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 7 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4 to 7 PM. Cremation will follow after the funeral. Memorial donations can be made in her name to the NSMC Cancer Center, 17 Centennial Dr., Peabody, MA 01960
