Obituary of Julia Judith Sibelle

Julia J. Judy Sibelle of the Fairweather Apartments in Peabody died unexpectedly on Wednesday at the Lafayette Convalescent Home in Marblehead. Miss Sibelle was born in Boston daughter of the late Paul and Angela (Rotondo) Sibelle. She was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School Class of 1943. She resided in Lynn before moving to Peabody in 1990. Miss Sibelle was employed for several years as a floor lady at a local shoe factory and prior to her retirement in 1989 she had been employed as a nurse’ s aide at several North Shore nursing facilities. Miss Sibelle was active at the Peter A. Torigian Community Life Center in Peabody. Miss Sibelle is survived by a sister, Madeline Vasseur of Malden and several nieces and nephews. She was also pre deceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, 16 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends may pay their respects Monday from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, at the 20 Church St., Peabody location. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
