Obituary of Eleanor Lane Zigalo

Eleanor (Lane) Zigalo, 61, formerly of Peabody, died Thursday evening at the Southern Pines Nursing Home in New Port Richey, Florida after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Michael Zigalo. She was born in Peabody, MA on March 31, 1943, the daughter of the late John J. and Mary T. (Carty) Lane and later resided in Hamilton, Ma before moving to New Port Richey, FL 20 years ago. She had been a bookkeeper at Bi-Lo Supermarket in Danvers, Ma for 15 years prior to her retirement. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John J. and Anita Lane Jr. of Wakefield, Ma, a sister, Margaret Tardiff of Peabody; five nephews, Matthew Lane of Wakefield, Jeffrey Lane of Medford, and John, Richard and Charles D. Robinson all of No. Reading, and a grand niece, Abigail Lane of Wakefield. She was the sister of the late Marie Robinson. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody location. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the Services. Burial will be in New Highland Cemetery, Ipswich.
