Obituary of Cindy Ann Giannone

Cindy Ann Giannone, 31, of Washington St., Peabody, died unexpectedly early Sunday morning at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital after being stricken at home. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Anthony Giannone, Sr. and Virginia (Martell) Gagnon and stepdaughter of Gregory Gagnon Sr., all of Peabody. She had lived in Lynn, Peabody, Everett, and Malden and had graduated from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1989. She had worked as a Phlebotomist for U.S. Laboratories in Winthrop, and also worked for Bass River Group Homes in Peabody. She received her certificate in 2000 from the Nursing Education Center in Salem. She enjoyed Dancing, going to the Theatre in Boston, and was well known as having a good sense of humor and had easiness to her. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her including her 3 brothers, Anthony Giannone, Jr., Gregory Gagnon, Jr., and Zachary Gagnon, all of Peabody; 2 sisters, Alana and Angelia Giannone, both of Hamilton; a close companion of 4 years, Melina Shapiro of Malden, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, and Nephews. Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home,at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visitation on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
