Obituary of Derohey "Alice" Castaldo

Derohey Alice Castaldo, 86, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon. She was the devoted wife of the late Gaetano A. Charlie Castaldo. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Garabed and Eranig (Arakelian) Torosian. She was raised and educated in Lynn, attended Lynn Public Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She has spent the last seven years living in Peabody. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Department Manager at WT Grant in Lynn and later for the city of Lynn School Department at Eastern Junior High School. She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Castaldo of Peabody and his close companion Lucine Pike of Salem; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and Ronald Burrows of Vineland, NJ; three grandchildren, Christian Castaldo and his fiancée Elvira of Lynn, Cassandra Castaldo of Peabody, and Tracy Stewart of Millville, NJ; three great children, David and Alyxandria Stewart and Arianna Castaldo. She was the sister of the late John Torosian and Vartouhi Rose Torosian. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 12 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
