Obituary of Eliza V. (Dussault) Laitinen

Peabody, October 17, 2004. Eliza V. (Dussault) Laitinen, 98, of Peabody died early Sunday morning at the Rosewood Nursing Home in West Peabody after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Albert Laitinen. She was born in Nahant on February 14, 1906, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ada (Coles) Dussault and was raised there and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She had resided in Peabody for the past 73 years. She had been a secretary at the Singer Sewing Machine Co. in Boston for 15 years and later worked at the Boston Block & Tackle Company of East Boston for 20 years prior to her retirement. She had been a member and secretary for over 40 years of the Peabody Grange and later the Danvers Grange. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Barton of Hobe Sound, Fl and many nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St, Peabody location. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. There are no Visiting hours. Burial will be in Greenlawn, Cemetery, Nahant. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Rosewood Nursing Home Gazebo Fund in her name, c/o 22 Johnson St., Peabody, MA 01960.
