Obituary of Bonita M. (Robbins) (Fitzpatrick) Powell
Bonita M. (Robbins) (Fitzpatrick) Powell, 64, of Peabody, died Monday morning at Salem Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Ann (Navarro) Robbins. She was raised and educated in the Boston area and has lived in Peabody for the past 30 years.
Prior to her retirement 10 years ago, she worked at the former Deerskin Trading Post in Peabody doing data entry for over 20 years.
She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling to Foxwood’ s and singing. She also enjoyed oil painting and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, post 1011 in Peabody.
She is survived by a son, Ronald Fitzpatrick, three daughters, Bonita Fitzpatrick of Beverly, Sharon Fitzpatrick of Peabody, and Karen Strait of Michigan; a brother, Raymond Bartlett of Fla, a sister, Nancy Landry of Saugus, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be private.
