Obituary of Pauline (Bouchard) Cashman

Pauline Cashman, 86, of Peabody, and formerly of Salem, died Monday evening at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Francis Buddy Cashman, and the late Ernest Simard who died in combat during World War II Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Albertine (Tremblay) Bouchard. She was raised and educated in Salem and attended Salem Public Schools. She has been a resident of Peabody for the past 50 years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for over 20 years as a sales Clerk at Filene’ s at the North Shore Peabody. She also enjoyed knitting, Fine Dining and socializing at the Peabody Senior Center. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and John Lombardo of Middleton and Suzanne and Thomas Coleman of Marblehead; a brother, Norman Bouchard of Peabody’ three grandchildren, Danielle and her husband Robert Bertrand, and Karl and Amy Becker, she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Cleo Bouchard. Her funeral service will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Thursday from 4:00 until 7:30 PM. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Expressions of sympathy can be sent to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923.
