Obituary of Helen (Mendalka) Freeman
Helen Freeman, 90, of Lynnfield, devoted wife of the late Earl C. Freeman, died early Tuesday afternoon at the Rosewood Nursing Center following a breif illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Golik) Mendalka. She had lived in Lynn for many years and has spent the last 40 years living in Lynnfield.
While living in Lynnfield, she was a member of the Lynnfield Women's Club and Garden Club. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was loved by all who knew her and cherished the monments spent with family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Jim Cavanaugh of Wilmington, two grandchildren, Scott Cavanaugh and his wife Renee and Kristine Demotses and her husband Andrew, two great grandchildren, Drew and Riley Demotses. She was the sister of 8 late brothers and sisters.
Her Funeral Services were private with burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
