Obituary of Damian J. Skoczylas

Damian J. Skoczylas, 28, of Peabody died Tuesday evening at the Salem Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Pulawy, Poland on December 30, 1975 the son of Jeisy and Eizbieta (Lalak) Skoczylas and had resided in Chicago IL and later in Fryeburg ME and Hampton NH before moving to Peabody MA 15 years ago. Mr. Skoczylas had been a used car dealer at Prestige Auto Sales of Topsfield and for the past year at Bavarian Motor Sports on the Lynnway in Lynn. He also worked at his mother’ s Shoppe, Elizabeth One-Stop Alteration in Hampton, NH. He enjoyed snowboarding, kayaking, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and spending time with his daughter. He is survived by his parents of Hampton, NH, his fiancé and soul mate, Tiffany Lopes and his daughter, Ciara Armani Skoczylas both of Peabody MA; a brother, Rodney Skoczylas and a sister Jennifer Skoczylas both of Hampton, NH and many relatives and friends. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the12 Chestnut St.,Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Richard Church, Forest St., Danvers, MA.
