Obituary of Anthony Tony Anastopoulos

Anthony Tony Anastopoulos, 48, of Peabody, died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday morning. Born in Beverly, he was the son of Barbara (Harrington) Anastopoulos of Peabody and the late Andrew Anastopoulos. He was raised and educated in Peabody, attended Peabody Public Schools and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1975. He had worked as a Quality Control inspector for in Analogic in Wakefield for over 10 years. He also had worked for the Water Department for the city of Peabody. He was an avid Beatles Fan, enjoyed reading, history, and was a Civil War History Buff. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by two children, Stephen and Cassandra of Peabody; a brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Deborah Anastopoulos of Danvers, a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Thomas McNiff of Salem. He was the devoted brother of Kellie Ann Anastopoulos who died the past August. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 PM at the Family Lot in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Monday from 4 until 8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility
