Obituary of Domenic Charles Rosa

Domenic Charles Rosa, 23, of Peabody, died unexpectedly Friday evening at Winchester Hospital. Born in Malden, he was the son of Charles Rosa and Mary (Lucas) Rosa of Peabody and biological son of Jacqueline (Gymziak) Silva of Wilmington. He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, class of 1999. While in High School, he was a member of the varsity hockey team and in his senior year was selected to the All Star Team. Domenic was also involved with the Peabody Youth Hockey Program in the learn how to skate program. Domenic was a loyal and true friend to all those who knew him and loved him. Besides his loving parents, he is survived by five brothers, Charles, twins Francis and Lucas Rosa, all of Peabody, Stephen and Sam Silva of Wilmington; two sisters, Teresa Rosa of Peabody and Jessica Silva of Wilmington, his paternal grandparents, Domenic and Geraldine (Nugent) Rosa of Topsfield, his maternal grandmother, Edith and Richard Rainford of Chelsea, his maternal grandfather, Raymond Gymziak, as well as many aunts, uncles and over 60 cousins. He was the brother of the late Vincent Rosa. His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’ s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friend are invited to attend. Visitation on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Center for Addictive Behavior, 111 Middleton Rd., Danvers, MA 01923.
