Obituary of Anne Marie (Cushing) Turner

Anne Marie (Cushing) Turner PEABODY Anne Marie (Cushing) Turner, 79, beloved wife of the late Lawrence Turner, died suddenly and unexpectedly at her home Monday in Brooksby Village. Born in Charlestown, she was the daughter of the late William and Mabel (McInnis) Cushing. She lived there in her youth and graduated from Charlestown High School. She lived in Peabody shortly after marrying Lawrence Turner, and lived here for the last 57 years. Besides a mother and homemaker, Mrs. Turner was a Waitress. She was employed with Liggett Rexall Drug Store at the North Shore Shopping Center before it was the Mall. She was affiliated with several Catering Services on the North Shore for 10 years. She is survived by: one son, Lawrence F. Turner, Jr., of Salem, NH; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda & John Vietri and Barbara & Frank Pellizzaro, both of Peabody, and Joan & Robert Melvin of Salem, NH; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, George T. Cushing of Beverly and William F. Cushing of CA; one brother-in-law, George Graham of Wakefield. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister two weeks ago, Dorothy Graham of Wakefield . Her Funeral will be held on Friday at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives are kindly invited to attend. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
