Obituary of James Walter Ruggiero

James W. Ruggiero PEABODY James W. Ruggiero, 40, beloved son of Walter & Diane (Broli) Ruggiero of Peabody and the late Gail (Walter) Ruggiero, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in Westland, MI on Sunday afternoon. Born in Revere, he was the son of Walter Ruggiero and the late Gail (Walter) Ruggiero. He lived there in his youth, and graduated from Revere High School. Following graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he trained for Reconnaissance in Special Intelligence. Following his Patriotic Duty in the Air Force, he started with Sky Chefs in East Boston for five years, and became an Accounts Manager with the company and transferred to the Detroit office where he worked for the last 11 years. Mr. Ruggiero was a Volunteer with the New England Aquarium when living in Boston, enjoyed reading books about Cape Cod, traveling especially to San Francisco, loved animals especially cats, and watching the Three Stooges. He also was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Team. He is survived by: his father and step-mother, Walter Ruggiero & Diane (Broli) Ruggiero of Peabody; two brothers and a sister, John & Renee Ruggiero of East Boston and Walter L. Ruggiero, II of Peabody; a dear friend and companion, Paula Bramhan of Westland, MI; two step-brothers, Timothy Penziner of Wakefield and Scott Penziner of Dublin, CA; a step-sister, Virginia Penziner of Danvers; a nephew, Anthony Ruggiero of Marblehead; uncle of a Godson John Ruggiero, and Joseph Ruggiero & Lily Ruggiero who are triplets all of East Boston, and many cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail A. (Walter) Ruggiero. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St. location, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Agnes Church, Boston St. Middleton, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
