Obituary of Andrew Joseph Kuchinsky

Andrew Joseph Kuchinsky, 89, of Peabody, formerly of Concord, died Sunday, December 5, 2004 at the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility at Gardner Park, Peabody. He was the devoted husband of the late Olga (Esauk-Saevsky) Kuchinsky. Born in Cambridge on January 18, 1915, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Kuchinsky. He later moved to Arlington, and then to Concord, where he lived for over 40 years before moving to Peabody four years ago. Andrew was a Chief in the United States Navy, saw combat in WWII in the Pacific. He remained in the Naval Reserves and worked as an engineer for the MWRA until his retirement in 1993. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Dorothea Kuchinsky of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Coughlin of Baker, Oregon; four grandchildren, Jenny Coughlin of Portland, OR, Frederick Sullivan, Gregory and Sara Kuchinsky, all of Peabody, two great grandchildren, he also is survived by a brother Walter Kuchinsky of Franklin, and a sister, Anna Zaitz of Carlisle. He was the brother of the late Peter Kuchinsky. A private family service will be held with burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
