Obituary of Grace (Fusco) Calo
Grace (Fusco) Calo, 88, of Peabody and formerly of Everett, died early Friday morning at the Union Hospital, Lynn after a short illness. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Calo who died in 1998.
She was born in Boston, MA on September 22, 1916, the daughter of the late Mario and Carmela (Giantonnio) Fusco and had resided in Everett for 40 years before moving to Peabody 12 years ago.
She enjoyed cooking her favorite recipe’ s and was very
Patriotic and a strong supporter of President George W. Busch.
She is survived by 3 sons and daughters-in-laws, Michael A. and Janice Calo of Malden, Ma, Ronald J. and Nerissa Calo of Brookline, NH and David and Sandra Calo of Maui, Hawaii, 2 daughters, Linda E. Brennan of Peabody and Elizabeth A. Penta of Burlington, MA, a brother, Charles Fusco of East Hampton, MA , 12 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph P. Calo who died last year.
Her Funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM in St. John’ s Church, Peabody . A visitation will be held on Monday morning from 9:30 until
10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial in holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Heart Fund, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
