Obituary of Myron L. Fried
Myron L. Fried, 86, of Peabody, died Saturday evening at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Ruby Helen (Cowart) Fried.
Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Henry and Marian (April) Fried. He was raised and educated in New York, attended New York Public Schools and later attended College in New York. He has been living in Peabody for the past 27 years.
He was a veteran of World War II, who served as a Sergeant for the United States Army from 1943 until 1946.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for over 30 years as a manager for April Marcus Associates, a clothing line company based in New York After his retirement, he continued working in the Peabody Area, first at Syms as and a assistant store manager and later for Parker Brothers in Salem.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by two sons, Nicholas Bouzianis of Peabody, and Peter Bouzianis of Tampa, Fla, four daughters, Patti Calder and Jan Fried, both of New York, Linda Bouzianis of Virginia and Patty Fournier of Peabody, he also is survived by 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Louis Bouzianis.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Following cremation, a private family funeral service will take place at a later date.
