Obituary of Joan C. (Seaberg) Chenery

Joan C. (Seaberg) Chenery, 84, of Peabody, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles Chenery. She was born in Lynn, MA on July 31, 1934, the daughter of the late Gustave and Jane (Clifford) Seaberg and was raised there graduating from Lynn English High School in 1952. She was a secretary at the General Electric Co., River Works plant in Lynn for 7 years before retiring to raise her family. Joan was a resident of Peabody for the past 56 years and enjoyed gardening around the house and was an avid reader. She is survived by her two sons; Andrew Chenery and Adam Chenery of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Michael Chiaradonna of Peabody, her cherished grand daughter, Lauren Chiaradonna of Peabody, a sister Jean Jules of Georgia and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Seaberg and Nancy Casare. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 10:30 until 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home 82 Lynn St, Peabody facility followed by Service there at 11:30 AM.
