Obituary of John Wowk

John Wowk, 67, “Johnny The Walker” of Peabody, passed peacefully on Wednesday July 3, 2019. He was the beloved husband of the late Donna (Dailey) Wowk. John is survived by his two loving daughters Stefania Wowk and Christina Wowk, his sisters, Maria Wowk, Sophia and her husband Gary Cameron, Olga and her husband Mark Cameron, Helen and her husband Frank Combs, his brother Frank Wowk, his sister-in-law, Marsha Wowk and is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father Rose Wowk and Demetrius Wowk and his brother Joseph Wowk. John was an avid walker and fisherman and was known for his kindness, great sense of humor and ambition. Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
