Obituary of Francis Richard Keene

Francis R, Keene, 85, of Beverly, passed away Thursday morning, at Beverly Hospital, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie C. (DiNapoli) Keene. Francis was born on April 7, 1934, in Somerville, MA, son of the late Oscar and Genevieve (Ryan) Keene. Prior to his retirement, Francis worked as a pipefitter for the Pipefitters Union, which was something he took immense pride in. He enjoyed boating and spending summers at his cottage in Wakefield, NH with his late wife. He is survived by a sister, Shirley DeSalvo of Exeter, NH, many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Rita Johnston and Gloria Taylor. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019, at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, MA 01960, from 10 A.M. – 12 P.M., followed by a service in the funeral home at 12P.M.
