Obituary of Marla Rose (Tripoli) Consalvo
Marla Rose (Tripoli) Consalvo, 81, of Peabody, died peacefully Thursday morning at her residence with her devoted husband of 62 years, Marcy G. Consalvo, by her side. She was born in Tampa, Florida on November 3, 1937, the daughter of the late Melchiore “Mike” and Minerva “Harriet” (Katz) Tripoli, and later resided in Lynn, MA before moving to Peabody 46 years ago. Marla was an electronic assembler at the Tru-Connector Company and later at Avnet Corp., both at the Peabody Industrial Park, Peabody for 15 years prior to her retirement. Marla and her husband loved to travel and visited 47 of the lower states, as well as Hawaii, Italy, Spain, and Morocco. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage, but her most cherished time was spent with her family. She is survived by her husband Marcy G. Consalvo of Peabody, a son, Carl Consalvo of Milton, Florida, her cherished grandchildren, Jason Consalvo and his wife Kerri of Beverly, MA, Matthew Consalvo of Lynn and Amanda Rose Consalvo of Florida, her two-great grandsons, Harrison J. and Graham M. Consalvo, and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Anthony Consalvo and the sister of the late Edward and Melchiore Tripoli, Marion Patrizzi and Maxine Hindi. A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
