Obituary of James J. Ribicandria (Buddy)

James J. Ribicandria (Buddy) of Salem died suddenly on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at Salem Hospital. Born in Lynn on October 13, 1953, he was the son of James J. Ribicandria, Sr. and the late Eleanor Ribicandria. For the past several years Buddy has worked in child care and before that he worked security and at the Salem News. Buddy leaves behind a daughter, Kellie Belanger of Salem, his father, James Ribicandria of Peabody, a sister, Elaine Dunham, of Marblehead, and a cousin and roommate, Harry Riparandido of Salem. Buddy was the uncle of Amanda and Emily Dunham of Marblehead. Buddy was a well known and much liked by his friends and neighbors at Pequot Highlands in Salem. He was also the captain of his dart team (Buddy's Bombers) which competed weekly at the Road House Pub in Peabody. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility. At the request of the family, burial will be private
