Obituary of Randolph M Jezowski
Randolph M “Randy” Jezowski, 76, of Newton, NH and formerly of Lynn and Magnolia, died early Sunday Morning surrounded by his family following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of Carolyn (Andersen) Jezowski with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Michael and Doris (Trask) Jezowski. He was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Trade School, class of 1960. He was later inducted into Lynn Tech Hall of Fame for his many accomplishments.
Randy was a machinist, tool and die maker by trade and was the proprietor of Ramco Machine, LLC which was established in Lynn in 1984. He had semi-retired a few years ago and the second generation has continued running the family business, now in Rowley. He also enjoyed mentoring students from MIT over the years as well.
Randy was very active in the community he lived in, he belonged to many groups and organizations and had many hobbies as well. He enjoyed boating and fishing and was a member of the North Shore Frogmen Dive Club, a lifetime member of Danvers Fish and Game Club, The Polish Club of Danvers, The Elks Club in Gloucester, and the Mt. Carmel Lodge in Lynn.
He enjoyed scuba diving and lobstering along the Atlantic Ocean and loved scuba diving on ship wrecks in the local area. He was a member of the Palmer Cove Yacht Club in Salem and the Kora Shrine in Lewiston, Maine. He also enjoyed hunting and going to their home on Sebago Lake with his family and he loved vacationing in the Caribbean. He also won many awards for the boat parade on Sluice Pond in Lynn.
Besides his loving wife Carolyn, he is survived by his two sons, Mike and Darla Jezowski of Danvers, and Tim and Jennifer of Amesbury, his brother, James Jezowski, Sr, Middleton, his three grandchildren, Michael Jezowski, Jr, and Reece and Haley Jezowski, his nieces and nephews, Kim and Troy Hasty, James Jezowski, Jr, and his wife Liz, Lisa and Michael Roth, and Joanne Jezowski, and by several cousins, including Linda and David Boucher of Wakefield, who assisted him over the past several months.
Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 9:00AM until 12:00PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody. A reception will follow immediately following visiting hours.
