Obituary of Marjorie Eleanor Holland

     Marjorie E. Holland, 96, formerly of Salem, passed away early Friday morning following a brief illness, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Charles F. Holland.

     Marjorie was born in Needham, MA, on December 12, 1922, daughter of the late George and Illah (Henderson) McCulloch.

     Prior to retiring at the age of 94, she worked as a Health Information Specialist for Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem, which she thoroughly enjoyed.  She was an avid Patriots and Bruins fan. She also enjoyed going to her summer home in Sanbornville, NH, attending lunch dates with her friends, enjoyed dancing, and loved her chocolates, but most importantly she loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a truly genuine person, always caring for others. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

      She is survived by her children, Peter Holland and his longtime companion, Sheila Winter, of Boxford, Beth Ann Kulas and her husband, Walter, of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Spencer, Sydney, Illah, and Danae. She was predeceased by her 7 siblings.

       A visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, from 4-9P.M., at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. in Peabody. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, at 11A.M. in the funeral home. Her committal service will be held on Saturday, September 14, at 11 A.M. at the Lovell Lake Cemetery, Sanbornville, NH.
