Obituary of Mary A Turner

Mary A (Renda) Turner, 86, of Peabody, died suddenly Tuesday evening.  She was a devoted mother.

Born in Chelsea, she was the daughter of the late Angelina (Bellino) and Agrippino Renda.  She married in 1955, then settled to Peabody in 1963.

Mrs. Turner had worked for the city of Peabody as a cafeteria worker for 35 years.  Her love and passion were family and friends.  She was humorous, thoughtful, and had a generous kind spirited heart.  Mary loved talking to anyone and everyone and loved helping others.  She believed in donating to St. Jude Children’s for a cure for over 50 years.  

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Turner, her two sons, Paul Turner and Peter Turner II, all of Peabody, her two grandchildren, Jennifer Turner and Paul Turner III, her two great grandchildren, Jacob and Isabelle Turner and by her special niece, Lillian Carey of Billerica.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.  Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00 PM.  Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, 100 R Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody.
