Obituary of Jane S. Mitchell

 Jane S. Mitchell, 89, formerly of Lynn, passed away Wednesday morning at the Brudnick Center in Peabody, following a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John Mitchell.

       Jane was born in Lynn, MA on October 10, 1929, daughter of the late Jozef and Sophie (Talaloj) Kalapnski. She was raised and educated in Lynn, a graduate of Lynn Classical High School. She was also a member of the former St. Michael’s Church in Lynn.

       She is survived by her children, Deborah McCafferty and her husband, Frank, of Peabody, John Mitchell and his wife Nancy of Salem, and Charles Mitchell and his wife, Lisa, of Indiana, 9 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.

            At Jane’s request, all services will be private.
