Obituary of Ann Linehan

   Ann Linehan, 88, of Peabody died Monday, October 7, 2019 at the Pilgrim House Nursing Center in Peabody.   She was the wife of the late Robert Linehan who died in 2015.

Ann was born in County Cork, Ireland on June 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Bernard) O’Leary and was raised there before moving to  Peabody MA   60 years ago.

Ann was a Nurse at the Lynn Union Hospital for many years prior to her retirement.      She was a devout catholic and volunteered for many years at My Brother’s Table in Lynn.  She also enjoyed knitting and sewing and had a love of animals, especially her dogs.

She is survived by her two sisters in Ireland, a niece Bernadette O’Regan Lewis and her husband John of  Owen Sound,  Ontario,Canada, her guardian and neighbor,  Diana Carli of  Peabody and many nieces and nephews in Ireland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019  at 11:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Church, Lower chapel.   Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery,  Peabody.
