Obituary of Angelo A Nargi
Angelo A. Nargi 86, of Peabody passed away October 9, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House. Angelo was born on November 1, 1932 in the Bronx, New York to Anthony Nargi and Anna (Gargiulo) Nargi. He had an older brother Louis who passed in October 2018.
Angelo was raised and attended school in the Bronx and served his country as a member of the United States Navy from 1952 – 1956, as a radioman on the USS F.D. Roosevelt. He was a Cargo Sales Manager with Swissair in New York, Detroit and Boston for nearly 40 years. Following his retirement, Angelo devoted his time to his true calling - acting, appearing in Joey and Maria's Wedding, as well as multiple films and a television series.
He leaves his loving wife Charlotte (Godschalk) Nargi; his daughter Christina Nargi; his daughter Charlotte Jackman and her husband Donald. He was Grandpa to Kristy Anna Haney and Nicholas Jackman. He also leaves his sister in-law Sylvia (Parsons) Nargi and his nephews Gary Nargi and Brian Nargi.
Details of the Funeral Service are pending but will be held at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody where all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, kindly donate to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St, Danvers, MA 01923 or the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation (www.tunnel2towers.org).
