Obituary of Jeanne M Dunn

Jeanne M. (Levesque) Dunn. 93, of Peabody, died peacefully on October 15, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House, Danvers with her family by her side. She was the wife of the Peabody fireman Robert B. Dunn.
She was born in Salem, MA on July 23, 1926, the daughter of the late Jean and Julia (Murphy) Levesque and was raised and educated in Salem graduating from Salem High School in 1943 and later from Salem Hospital School of Nursing in 1946.
She had worked in the maternity ward at Salem Hospital for eight years and after having raised her three children, returned to the nursing field at Dr. Mac Donald office in Danvers and later at the Shaughnessy Adult Day Health Program in Salem prior to her retirement.
Jeanne was a daily communicant and active member of St. John the Baptist church, Peabody and was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen R. and Mary Ann Dunn of Danvers, two daughters and a son-inaw, Mary Beth O’Brien and her husband William of Manomet, MA and Suzanne Dunn of Stoneham, her cherished grandchildren, James, Christine and her husband Drake, Julia, Andrew and Brian, her sisters, Joan Levesque of Beverly and Lois M. LeBlanc and her husband Roger of Salem and many nieces and nephews, She was the sister of the late Marian Gautreau.
A Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 until 11:15 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 20 Church St. (Downtown) Peabody facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church at 11:30 AM.
