Obituary of Mary J. Pagliarini

Mary J. (Sakaris) Pagliarini 95, died Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Advinia Care Center in Salem.

Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Kornotous) Sakaris. She received her education in the Peabody school system and graduated from Peabody High School, class of 1942.

Mrs. Pagliarini had been employed for fifty years as a machine operator at the General Electric Company in Lynn and Wilmington until the time of her retirement in 1993.

A resident of Peabody before moving to Malden in 1984, Mary was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post #507 in Lynn. She loved to travel, enjoyed playing Bingo and most of all, helping people in need, especially senior citizens.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Linda Faverman of Peabody, Pamela Ferguson of Peabody, Mary Raimondi of Natick, Joan Weaver of FL, John Genova of FL, Peter Genova of FL, Gail Young of Harwich, David Solomini of Medford and Athena McIntire of ME and great nieces and nephews, Michael, Christina and David. She was also the sister of the late Georgia Coogan, Helen Luis, Anastasia Sakaris and James Sakaris, great aunt of Stephen and lifetime friend of the late Morris Bendell.

Her funeral service will be held in the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will be held prior to the service on Wednesday morning from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
