Obituary of Lorrie L. Colclough

 

Saugus – Lorrie L. (Nicholson) Colclough 55, formerly of Lynn, wife of Kerry Colclough, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 25, 2019 at her home.

Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of Gale A. (Spence) Sweeney and her husband, Jack Sweeney of Peabody and the late Thomas A. Nicholson.

A loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend, Lorrie was dedicated to her three sons and granddaughter. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing large meals for family and friends especially on the holidays. She also had a great love for music, whether it was going to a concert or just listening to her favorite band. She will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her three sons, Justin Bartimus of Lynn, Kerry Colclough Jr. of Revere and Zachary Colclough of Woburn, a granddaughter, Kyla Colclough of Lynn, a brother, Wayne Nicholson and his wife, Karen of Rowley, a step-sister, Maryellen Lear and her husband, Dan of Beverly, her aunts, Pat Hussey, Sandra Prunier, Jacalyn Hudson and Karen Nicholson, as well as other siblings, Kelley, Thomas, Larissa, Nathan, Amy and Alex.

 

Her funeral services will be private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Contributions may be made in Lorrie’s memory to My Brother’s Table, 98 Willow St., Lynn, MA 01901.
