Obituary of Carole F. Rowe

Carole F. Rowe, 81, of Peabody, previously of Danvers, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

            Carole was born in Everett, MA, on October 17, 1938, daughter of the late Hilmer and Ruth M. (Johnson) Hanson. She was raised and educated in Winthrop, and was a graduate of Winthrop High School, Class of 1957.

            Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Referral Coordinator at Salem Hospital for 38 years.

She is survived by her sons, David Rowe and his wife Kathy of PA, Marcus Rowe, Jr., of CA; her 7 grandchildren, Taylor who had resided with her, Chelsea, Marcus, Mikenzie, Marissa, Alyssa, and Marcus; her siblings, Ruth Papas of FL, and Joan Bacon of Lowell, John Hanson of Rowley; and her closest of friends Mary Nimblett.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. Rowe, her siblings, Evelyn Ross, Annbritt Forest, and Sonja Powers.

            A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, from 4 -8 P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 8, in the funeral home at 11A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
