Obituary of Kathleen M. Price
Kathleen was born in Peabody, on June 17, 1935, daughter of the late Anthony and Gertrude (Peabody) Scarnegie. She was raised and educated in Peabody, and was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School.
In her early years, she worked as an accountant for Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Salem. Later in life, she was a homemaker and caretaker to her husband, Donald who was disabled with Multiples Sclerosis. She took pride in caring for him up until his death. She also enjoyed playing bingo, dancing and taking trips to Foxwood Casino. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends but the most important aspect of her life was her family. Her caring and loving spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Huskins and husband, David of Peabody, Denise Price of Peabody, Debbie Jenkinson of Peabody, her grandchildren, Janine Doherty and husband, Michael, Joshua Jenkinson, Justin Jenkinson and his wife, Allyse, Danielle Bourgeois and husband, Matt, Diane Vetree and husband, Steve and seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, June Coddens and Norma Silva. In addition to her family, she leaves behind her loving and supportive caregivers, Kerri, Peter, Lucia and Sharon.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, from 4-8P.M at the Conway. Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 9 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass in St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody at 10 A.M. She will be laid to rest in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
