Obituary of John F. Sullivan Jr.

John F. Sullivan Jr., 77, of Turners Falls, MA and formerly of Peabody died Thursday evening November 21, 2019 at the Farren Care Center with his family by his side.     He was born in Lynn, MA on November 19, 1942, the son of the late John F. Sr. and Dorothy (Barnes) Sullivan and had resided in Peabody most of his life before moving to Turners Falls.

John was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School in 1961 and was first employed for five years as a salesman at Sears in Peabody.    He then became a technician with the Polaroid Corporation in Cambridge for 30 years prior to his retirement.

He had been a member at the A.O.H. Division 11 of Peabody, and enjoyed reading and doing photography. His most precious time was spent with his family.

He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law,  Richard J. Sullivan of Salisbury, MA and Joseph E Sullivan and his wife Barbara of Groveland, a daughter and son-in-law,  Breena and Matt Roper of Woburn, MA,  a brother, Brian Sullivan of  Peabody, a sister and brother-in-law,  Kathleen and Arthur Bailey of Colorado,  his eleven grandchildren, Alex Finley, Cory, Brendan, Patrick, Morgan, Liam, Marina and Brady Sullivan, and Landon, Autumn and Tegan Roper and nieces and nephews.  He was the father of the late John F. Sullivan III, who died in 2012.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 26, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur funeral home at the 82 Lynn St.  Peabody facility followed by Services there at 11:30 AM.
