Obituary of Margaret T Morris

Margaret T. (Levy) Morris 82, beloved wife of the late John J. Morris, died Sunday, December 8, 2019 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly.

Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Adeline (Sullivan) Levy. She graduated from Salem High School, class of 1955.

Mrs. Morris had been employed for many years as a medical secretary for Dr. William Stewart in Salem and later for Dr. Hitchjikata in Lynn until the time of her retirement.

A longtime resident of Peabody, Mrs. Morris had a great love for animals, especially her pet collies. She enjoyed playing Scrabble and cooking and loved gardening and going out to the movies. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her are four daughters, Maureen Morris of Salisbury, Kathleen Morris of AZ, Patricia Ameral of NH and Cheryl Anderson of Salem, six grandchildren, Briana, Matthew, Patrick, Jesse, Chloe and Kera and two great grandchildren, Mason and Lexi.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.
