Obituary of Thomas M. Perates

Peabody – Thomas M. Perates 60, beloved husband of Lisa M. (LeDonne) Perates, died Thursday, December 19, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late William J. and Constance (Spyropulos) Perates. He received his education at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Lynn. Mr. Perates had been employed for twenty-three years as a maintenance supervisor for the Piano Craft Guild in Boston. A handyman and outdoorsman, Tom enjoyed spending time with his family at their lake house in Freedom, NH which he recently embraced the task of remodeling himself. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend who will be missed by all that knew him. In addition to his wife, with whom he shared thirty-two years of marriage, he is survived by a daughter, Marisa Perates, two sons, Nicholas Perates and Joseph LeDonne all of Peabody, a sister, Janice Perates of Milton, three brothers, John Perates and his wife, Deborah of Peabody, William Perates of Lynn and Michael Perates and his wife, Robin of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Burial in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
