Obituary of Edward G Crowley

Edward G. Crowley, 79, of Peabody, MA, died Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at the NSMC Salem Hospital with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Marilyn (Martin) Crowley with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. He was born in Cambridge MA on March 1, 1940, the son of the late Edward and Martha (Kenney) Crowley and was a graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School in 1958. He was employed with Century Graphics of New Orleans as the Sales Manager for the East Coast for 30 years prior to his retirement 14 years ago. He and his family had resided in Peabody and later in Beverly and Danvers before returning to Peabody 3 years ago. He proudly served with the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army during the Vietnam era and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Ed love to watch CCN News, and LA Law on TV, and the Pink Panther movie. He also enjoyed the Boston Red Sox and Boxing Matches and had spent time traveling along the East Coast. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his two sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Kelley Crowley of Salem, MA and Stephen Crowley of Saugus, his two daughters and son-in-law, Jill and Jay Paddol of Danvers and Amy Crowley of Peabody, his six grandchildren, Edward , Jack and Dylan Crowley and Maxwell, Emily and Samuel J. Paddol, his sister and brother-in- law, Martha and James Twombly of Tewksbury, MA and many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody with a Service held there at 7:00 PM.
