Obituary of Rose P. Kokoras

Peabody- Rose P. (Papoutsy) Kokoras 83, beloved wife of the late William N. Kokoras died Friday, December 27, 2019 at the Kaplan House at 78 Liberty Street in Danvers. Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Anna (Karademos) Papoutsy. She was a 1954 graduate of Haverhill High School marrying the love of her life at the young age of18, Bill, later that same year. A loving and devoted wife and mother, her family always came first. Rose was employed for over 20 years in the Peabody Public Works Water Department. She was a caring and giving person who was well loved by all those knew her. She was a great cook and when not cooking loved going out to restaurants. For over 20 years, she resided at the Essex Green Lane condo complex in Peabody serving several years on its Board of Trustees. Surviving her are 3 sons; Nick, Greg and Ted as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 4 to 8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, 5 Paleologos St., Peabody , followed by burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peabody.
