Obituary of Patricia A MacRae

Patricia A (Gray) MacRae, 76, of Beverly, passed peacefully December 24, 2019 with her family by her side at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Stephen H. MacRae who passed this past October. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Elliott and Bernice (Cullen) Gray. She was a life-long resident of Beverly and a graduate of Beverly High School. Patricia was employed with the State of Massachusetts as a clerk in the probate court in Salem for over 20 years before she retired. Family was everything to her and her favorite endeavor was spending with them and sharing in all of their activities. Patricia is survived by her three daughters, Debra Roche and Lauren Hopkins, both of Beverly, and Penny MacRae of NH, her brother, Richard Gray of Beverly and by her beloved four grandchildren, Alex DiStefano, and Ashley, Courtney, and Kailey Hopkins. She was predeceased by her brother Elliott Gray. Following cremation, a private burial will take place in the family cemetery.
