Obituary of Adrien E. Caron
Adrien E. Caron, 88, devoted husband of Alice Lowe Caron for 65 years, of Peabody, died August 23, 2006, after a brief illness, with his family at his side.
He was born in Sale, son of Saluste and Adelaide Caron. He leaves four children and loved ones, including Philip and Karen Caron of Newington, NH, Laurie Miles of Boston, Margie and Richard Dotson of Woodbridge, Virginia, Thomas and Dianne Caron of Tyler, Texas, Joan Comeau and Emma Espinola of Danvers, and a sister, Irene Bellamy of Lexington, Nebraska. He also leaves 12 grandchildren, Scott Caron, Chris Caron, Brian Caron, Bobby Caron, Jennifer Vetree, Betsy Miles, Matt Dotson, Tim Dotson, Brett Dotson, Leslie Caron, Joel Caron, and Leigha Caron, 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased b his brothers, Albert, Arthur, Roland, and Stanley Caron and his sisters, Eva LaPlante, Lena Gagnon, Annette Andrews, Lucille Soderholm, Eugenie Martin and Mary Simard.
Adrien was a World War II veteran serving overseas with the U.S. Army 327th Ordinance. For many years Adrien was the co-owner of Beverly Marine Basin, a founding father of the New England Marine Trade Dealers Association and retired from Speco, Inc, in Beverly.
He was a member of the American Legion, the Franco American Club and a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody where his funeral mass will be held on Saturday August 26, 2006 at 9:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St. John the Baptist School, 17 Chestnut St., Peabody, MA 01960. Visiting hours will be at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody Facility, on Friday, August 25, 2005 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers
