Obituary of Stephen C Majur

Stephen C. “Mudd” Majur, 56, of Peabody died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, January 26, 2020. He was born in Saugus, MA on February 11, 1963, the son of Janice (Grasso) and the late Steve Majur and was raised and resided in Peabody. Stephen was a 1981 graduate of P.V.M. High School. Stephen had a love of sports at a young age and excelled in playing baseball in the Peabody Leagues. He had also been active in the Peabody Boy Scouts. Stephen was an avid Sports fan and followed all of the local Boston teams. He enjoyed music, reading, a good debate and especially playing golf and going fishing. Stephen also enjoyed working on his fish pond and keeping his yard in great shape. Stephen was a manager in the family pizza business; Pop’s Pizza on Main St., Peabody for over 25 years. He was always there for his family and devoted to giving his time to them. Stephen had a great sense of humor, telling jokes and always made people smile. He was giving of himself and always trying to help others. He was a genuine, dependable and caring person and will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother, Janice Majur of Peabody, a sister, Michele M. Pepe of Haverhill, MA, a brother, Shawn P. Majur of Georgetown, MA, his nephews, William C. Pepe and Wyatt J. Pepe both of Haverhill, an uncle, Antonio DiCicco of Peabody and many cousins and loyal friends. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. A Private family Service will be held on Thursday.
